Business, civic leader George Fahnestock had huge impact on community
Native Wichitan George Fahnestock, founder and owner of a heating, plumbing and electric company, served on the boards of numerous local nonprofits and took a lead role on a couple of major community projects. Sedgwick County sheriff's officials said Fahnestock, 62, died of a single gunshot wound at his home Thursday. Foul play is not suspected.

What is wrong when my chain keeps coming off my elctric chainsaw?
I have recently got a small electric chainsaw. The first hour or so it worked great . Then, the chain came off. I took it apart and put the chain back on. It worked o.k. for about 5 minutes and came off again. I repeated this for abot 8 times and give up. It got to where it wasn't cutting good when it was working. It has a container on top to put oil in I think. Does it just need oiling or what?
There should be two screws near the chainsaw chain on the bar. You can tighten these screws to control the tension on the belt. When the chain saw is off and unpluged (make sure it's not hot) the you should only be able to pull the chain up a little so that you can see the teeth slightly without pulling it off. Use the screws to control the tension. The chainsaw will loosen overtime, so you will have to tighten it frequently.
You should load bar and chain oil into the oil container. There should be a black pump button near the handle at the top. You can use this to pump oil onto the chain as you cut. Do this frequently. This reduces friction and will help with the problem.
Consult your manual about the oil and tension control for your model.
