Craftsman also offers a steerable version of this model. It features the same specifications but includes a single lever joystick control and adjustable chute rotation for easier use. This, however, adds around a hundred bucks to the price of the previous model.
Most consumers also hail the Craftsman 88999, a solid two-stage gas snow machine that offers good value for its price. Priced at around $1,000, the machine has features that only the top and the highest models of other brands have, but all the features are offered at a cheaper price.
